If you are shopping for a realtor, literally stop searching! Melissa is your gal! Melissa sort of fell into our lap, as our original realtor moved and then referred us to her. I honestly wouldn't have wanted it any other way as Melissa was a gift to us! She helped us sell our condo for WAY over asking price and was with us every step of the way in our search for a single family home. From the moment we initially met, I felt so much peace and confidence about our future endeavors with her. If you want top dollar and shortest time on market then Melissa should be your go-to. I trusted her vision for some minor "remodeling" and staging, and it paid off in presentation and performance on the market. She's very accommodating and easy to work/communicate with, but if you give her some freedom on key listing decision making she'll really come through! If you want to buy a house in this very competitive market, Melissa is the realtor you need! She is very good at reading situations and negotiating - she knew when to play hard ball versus when to accept the deal. After few offers, she guided us on how to change our strategy to make our next offers more appealing to the sellers, as the market was so competitive and the houses we were looking at were going at $150K over asking price. She is very thorough and made sure that all the necessary information was provided to us before we finalize the deal so that there is no bad surprises later. She was very prompt and reliable, and would be in contact with us every day. We could ask any questions and she would answer immediately or work to find the answer promptly. She advised us a lot, but in the end, she would let us decide whether or not we would proceed with an offer. We never felt pressured into a decision. Compared to some of our friends' realtors or sellers' agents, Melissa stood out as driven, committed and fighting to get us the best deal. We fully trusted that she was working for our best interest.
