Dana grew up in lovely Raleigh, NC before graduating from NYU with a degree in Film/ TV Production. She worked in entertainment for several years- in writers' rooms, as a development executive, and as the assistant to various celebrities, where she often found herself in some of the nicest houses she could imagine. This combined with her love of DIY, inspired a career change into interior design, where she worked for a high-end Los Feliz-based design firm before joining The Local. She loves how each project at The Local brings together her resourcefulness and eye for design to provide a unique blend of luxury, livability, and a tad of whimsy in each home.

Dana is an avid woodworker. If she’s not spending her free time making things, she’s usually cooking, at a concert, or hanging out with her boyfriend and two dogs in their Atwater Village home.
