Edith Reyna was born in Mexico City, Mexico and made the move with her family to live in Los Angeles, California in 1982 at the age of 13. Her real estate experience started back in 1990 when she started working with an escrow company. With over 23 years of experience in Real Estate, Edith has been fortunate to work alongside an amazing team, which has given her the opportunity to assist her clients in achieving their goals in either selling or buying real estate. Edith’s purpose in her profession is to assist her clients through every point of the process so that the transition of placing a “SOLD” sign on the seller’s property or handing over the keys to the buyer’s new home is seamless.

When Edith is not selling real estate, she is typically spending time with her husband, 2 beautiful daughters, and their 2 dogs (Vader & Leia).

I've had the pleasure of working with The Local Real Estate Group 3 times now and cannot recommend them enough. If you're considering buying or selling a home in Northeast Los Angeles, this is the team that you're looking for. --- HOME BUYING: It was difficult to decide where to even start as a first-time homebuyer. Reaching out to several other agents in the area only led to stock messages or no reply at all. When I called The Local, owner Kurt Wisner immediately invited me to their office patio for a beer and a chat. It was clear that he and his team were knowledgeable, not-at-all pushy, and excited to get to know their clients and what they're looking for. I still pop by their office just to say "hi" when in the area. Our chat led to pairing me with buying agent, Mark Grimes, who was simply incredible. Even when our listing date fell during his planned family vacation, Eugene was checking in (from Europe!) during all of the milestone showings, offers, and closing. Another of The Local's selling agents, Edith Reyna, seamlessly took over during Eugene's family vacation. Edith handled everything for us in preparing and hosting the open houses. We had planned for several years to sell our home when we neared retirement and knew we would use Edith Reyna and Liz Johnson from the Local Real Estate Group. Liz had been our realtor when we purchased our home 10 years before and had done an exceptional job back then. In fact, Liz was the realtor that my wife rented her house from 20 years ago. They knew the area! We were concerned about being able to manage the move, the home prepping, the sale and all the myriad of little details involved with selling our home. Edith assured us that they would have it all handled, and not to worry, that this is what they do. And wow, did she mean it! When it came time to list our home Edith and The Local Real Estate group came with an entire team of professionals to handle all facets of the sale. They had a home prep crew, painters, contractors, stagers, designers, and landscapers. They presented us a very detailed plan with specific dates. Our big responsibility was to be moved out of the house on a certain date (and they even provided us with a reference for an excellent contact for downsizing and moving help!) We were out of the house on the day they requested, and their team came in and turned our home into a work of art. Although they handled absolutely everything, it was all passed through us for approval. The house, after their prep, was so beautiful that we almost did not want to move! When the home listed, their marketing expertise was spot on, it sold in 11 days, quite a bit above asking, and then went smoothly thru escrow, all managed by Edith, Liz and their team. The Local Real Estate group is a well-oiled real estate machine with years of experience in this area. I cannot possibly imagine ever using anyone else to buy or sell a home.
